I WON, sick, ER=HFMD, and 18 days….

Good evening everyone. It’s been awhile since I’ve written. So much is going on, as you can read from my title. Lets start off with a few bullets on what this entry is going to include.

#1: Comp. Court
So yesterday I went to court to see if I have a case. Well I won by a land slide. Tops had there lawyer AND 3 witnesses going against little ole’ me. The witnesses weren’t even worth the time. None of there stories matched, none of them could remember dates, and they “forgot” to write down certain things pertaining to my injury. They judge already had his mind made up before the 1st witness was done. He wasn’t really paying attention but was. Tops’ lawyer was pissed. They have to pay for everything. In the next few weeks I should be getting a check for $1,700 which is all the back payment starting from March 13th, plus I will be getting $98 a week in compensation. My lawyer called me this morning and said to not call the insurance company because they’re going to appeal it and try and get me more money. My lawyer requested that I get a 200% increase for weekly payments but the judge didn’t go for it, so we’ll see. Plus I finally got the ok for nerve testing, physical therapy, everything I need to get my hand/wrist fixed. I’m so happy.

#2: Me Being Sick
Well lately I haven’t been feeling too well. I’ve been overly tired and I get between 8-11 hours of sleep a night. On top of that I have been feeling like I’m going to throw up and the only thing that takes the edge off it eating popcorn. I’ve been really dizzy. I feel like I’m spinning around and nothing specific triggers it. I could be sitting down watching TV, or just changing the kids. And lastly, I have been having some brown discharge. What is wrong with me? Anyone have any ideas?

#3: Owen
Owen hasn’t been too good either. Last Wednesday when we were at my moms house he didn’t look right. Then he started getting a fever. By 7 that night he had a fever of 103 degrees. I got him calmed down and he fell asleep. I had an errand I had to do that night so I went and did what I had to do. I came back a half an hour later and he still wasn’t any better. I took him to the Immediate Care place and they checked him out. He still had a high fever, plus a border line ear infection and an extremely red throat. They put him on Zythromax and sent us on our way. That night was a nightmare. He slept maybe 5 hours and seeing someone had to take care of him, I got the same amount of sleep Owen did. I got his medicine and he seemed to perk up. By 5 that evening he started getting the fever again. I took him to the ER [my mom watched Riley] and told them something was more wrong than watch the IC people found. They took us back and when the doctor examined him, they found that he has Hand, Foot and Mouth disease. [Google it. I’m not in the mood to explain what it is.] I guess its a common childhood illness. Seeing its a viral thing there isn’t anything they can give him. I can’t have my little kid around him because he’s contagious 2-3 days before everything shows up, the whole time it had erupted and 2-3 after it’s gone. I’ll be lucky if I get her by next Tuesday. Right now he’s alright. Slowly getting better.

#4: Down South
So this weekend we are going down to Pats home town to spend the weekend with his dad…as long as Owen keeps improving. Should be a good time!!

#5: 18 Days
Well the part you had to read to find out what the hell I’m talking about. Pat and I are getting married on the 30th of this month. Friday we will be going down to get out marriage license and Justice McGuire is going to do the ceremony. Very simple…for now…so I can get insured and we can finally be married. What’d you guys think, I was pregnant?

Well I have wrote everything that I have wanted to. I’m gonna go hop in the shower. Pat’ll be home in a half an hour and I’m going back to bed. [I got up at 2 this afternoon seeing I haven’t felt too good. I went to bed at 1 this morning. Ugh.] Until next time…toodles.
