Dr. Appt #4

Had my doctors appointment today. It was for 1:30 so we left the house early. We got there and we had to go to the billing office due to past payments that I have had. I swear they wanted more money than I calculated but who knows.

[Seeing I applied and got accepted for the MOMS program, I had to take to the doctors and show them that I have Medicaid being added on so I didn’t have to pay anymore co-pays. Well they couldn’t add it on just yet because I don’t have my Medicaid care…I HAD THE PINK PAPER SAYING THE I GOT ACCEPTED AND MY CASE WORKER SAID IT WOULD BE FINE!! Grr. Plus the first person we seen didn’t know what he was doing if his life depended on it. He just sat there and continiously kept hitting the same key on his keyboard. We sat there and dealt with this for a good 10 minutes. Then the other person that was in there called us over to her side because the guy we were with had a phone call and took that instead of dealing with a patient…me. Anyways, dealt with this woman who insisted that I owed this money…so I just threw down $60 to shut her up and make her satisfied. We dealt with her for another 10 minutes which in turn made me 20 minutes late for my appointment. GRRR!!!]

Anyways, got called back and they weighed me. I only gained 1 pound which in turn made me freak out. Blood pressure is normal. The nurse left, I did my urine sample and then Dr. Page decided to pop in. Check the heart beats and they’re still going strong!! Then we talked about why I only gained so little. He said he isn’t worried seeing my pre-pregnant weight was above the “normal weight” and that within 2 months I’ve gained 6-8 pounds and he said that’s good. So it took a lot of worry off me. He also wrote me another prescription for my Protonix which I inturn told him that it was a “god sent”!! He smiled.

And the most important news in the entry is that we set up the date to [hopefully] find out what they are. We go March 13 at 11 in the morning!! Less than a month to go….time for a new ticker!! Hehe!!
