Broken Wrist

So last night Pat and I spent a chunk of our evening in the ER with Riley. She fell coming down the stairs from her room. She was on the 2nd to last step, she got tangled in her blanket and fell. She landed on her wrist. Immediately freaking out and shaking. Her [left] wrist puffed right out. Pat rushed home from work and we took her to the ER. They took an x-ray of her wrist and found out that she has a buckle fracture aka a broken wrist. They put her in a full arm cast and she has to have it on for 3 weeks. I swear, like mother like daughter.

I have been taken out of work with tendinitis in my right hand. I’m so-so. hurts to type, or write, or pick up my kids. I’ve been in a brace but still hurts. My fingers are all puffy, and no the brace isn’t too tight. If it inflammation hasn’t gone down by Monday I have to call the doctor.
