ATTENTION ATTENTION….THEY’RE HERE!!

YES, YOU READ RIGHT. THEY ARE HERE. OWEN AND RILEY ARE HERE.

THEY WERE BORN JUNE 17, 2007. RILEY WAS BORN AT 9:36PM AND OWEN WAS BORN AT 10:04PM. RILEY WEIGHED IN AT 5LBS. EVEN AND OWEN WEIGHED IN AT 4LBS. 14OZ. BOTH OF THEN ARE 19 1/4 INCHES LONG. BREATHING ON THERE OWN SO THAT MAKES ME HAPPY. I WAS ONLY 33 WEEKS AND 6 DAYS ALONG. BOTH WERE NATURAL WITH NO DRUGS. THERE WAS JUST NO TIME…EVERYTHING WENT TOO FAST. BIRTH STORY AND PICTURES TO COME AT A LATER DATE.

NOW THE DARK PART OF THE ORDEAL. LAST NIGHT THEY WERE TRANSFERRED TO STRONG HOSPITAL. HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THERE BREATHING, IT HAS TO DO WITH THE FACT THEY WEREN’T FEEDING AND TO PREVENT DEHYDRATION. FROM THE WORD GO, THEY DIDN’T HAVE THE SUCKING AND SWALLOWING TECHNIQUES MASTERED SO THEY HAD A FEEDING TUBE INSERTED THROUGH THERE NOSE. WELL THE FORMULA WASN’T TAKING TO THERE SYSTEM IN WHICH WAS CAUSING THEM TO DEHYDRATE. SO THEY GOT TRANSFERRED FOR OBSERVATION AND IV FLUIDS. THEY’LL BE AT STRONG FOR A FEW DAYS AND THEN GET TRANSFERRED BACK TO THOMPSON WHERE THEY’LL STAY FOR AT LEAST ANOTHER 7 DAYS TO MAKE SURE THEY CAN MANAGE TO DO IT ON THERE OWN. THEY WERE ALSO PUT IN THE ISOLETS…AKA…THE BOX SEEING THEY COULDN’T MAINTAIN TO KEEP THERE BODY TEMPERATURE WHERE IT SHOULD BE. OTHER THAN THAT THEY ARE BEAUTIFUL HEALTHY BABIES.

MOM AND DAD ARE VERY PROUD AND HAPPY. ESPECIALLY DAD…SEEING FOR HIS FIRST FATHERS DAY HIS KIDS WERE BORN.
