SUPANOVA 2005, I will miss you :(

…. working as a volunteer over the weekend for Supanova (an anime/sci-fi/pop culture convention) in the city, was truly a great experience for me. I mean sure, I went a little broke on all the cool stuff I found and sure the first day (friday) I felt lonely coz no one would really talk to me and I thought my manager didn’t like me lol… but by the end of Sunday, I was getting hugs and talking to almost everyone cheerfully (yes, I shed my awkwardness ^^)…and I realised, I would miss all these guys. I did get a few emails though, which is good 🙂 and I made quite a few friends (Rebecca, Daniel, May & Jay to name a few) and I even bumped into two guys who used to be in my year at high school working as volunteers! 😀 hehe.

As you can see there were  A LOT of people cosplaying (‘cosplay’ stands for costume play for those of you unfamiliar with the term.. lots ppl dress up as their fav anime or movie characters etc…)

Ohyes, I also walked past john rhys davies lol whom I wouldnt have noticed if my friend hadn’t of pointed him out -_- I didn’t cosplay this year (this is the first one ive been to btw) … I wish I could sew coz otherwise it feels like a cop out. I really want to go as witch hunter robin sometime though, I reckon I could pull her off.

p.s Nicole got a permenant job at SeaKing today… she applied yesterday and they called her in today for a trial, she didnt even need an interview, lucky girl! Congrats Nicole! 🙂 yaaay. Ofcourse this means I have to start looking for a new job soon.. i know its only been a week but they pass quickly and If I let it drag me on or rejection get to me I know I’ll become mega depressed (it’s bad enough dealing with him, sad to say :() sigh** Hope to move out soon.
