Howl’s moving testicle; the other OTHER white meat

24th of September, 2005

Howdy!!

Time sure flies, is all I can say. I’m up to my last week of work and soon I’ll have to look for another job (I should be looking now but lately the only thing I do when I get home is sleep just about, which is why I havn’t wrote an entry for ages; sorry bout that.)

I’ll be glad if I never see another file again, and then that would be alltogether too soon. -_- A few days ago, the people in the other office that is closing down, discovered that about 2000 of their file records had some how dissapeared from the government program we use. So guess who has to enter them all over again? Yep, not Jude Skanky Law but me; tired toni p.  I’ve almost done them all but I have about another bunch to do on Monday and I’m told theres a ‘bit more’ coming -_- Oh goody. Not that I should complain  since it is my job for the moment but atleast before I had some variety in what I did (like actually walking) …nowdays my fingers are on auto-pilot and brain numbs up after 3 hours of straight out data entry.  But it’ll be over soon I hope.

Ok off the boring stuff. In more exciting news, I bought a DS last Monday finally 😀 and I pre-ordered Nintendogs. I bought Final Fantasy 1 & 2 (it’s an advance game but I can still play it on DS) to play for the moment and they’ll call me when my order is in ^_^

Also, two weeks ago I entered a competition in the newspaper to win a double pass to see an advanced screening of Howl’s moving castle..and guess what? I won *jumps up and down* So I took Vesa to see it last Tuesday and man it rocked 🙂 Suprisingly I skimmed through the book it was based on the other day (by Diana Wynne Jones) and I didn’t find it as interesting as Miyazaki’s interpretation of it *shrug* Ahwell -_-

Oh that reminds me, Final Fantasy; Advent Children is coming out soon, has anyone seen a rip copy of it yet? I’d had mixed reviews from friends but when I saw the trailer I nearly creamed my pants *pun not intended*

I also went and saw Duece Biggalow European Giggalo on Thursday night with Nicole and David…it had spantastically ridiculous scenes but I laughed at it anyhow. Oh and Nicoles supossed to be sleeping over tonight; she wants to walk to Liverpool today when David wakes up (dude it’s already 12:18 pm! -_-) but yeah.

I’ll stop boring you all; look pictures! *points*

Agh…DS…if my psychic powers were more developed I’d try to suck it through the internet connection…even though I want a PSP more, still…I played a couple minutes of Nintendogs, it seemed really weird…then again, I didn’t know how to do anything. Darned lack of controls. I felt n00bish. You should update more often, though I understand that some people have lives, unlike me >.<. Later.

Wow, data entry. I would punch that in the nuts. Don’t you have any nice OCR programs to help out? That is some seriously tedious work. Ninja’s are awesome but I am more of a pirate. Arrrrrrrrg!

RYN: I talk like a pirate everyday out of randomness. I didn’t know there was an official day though. OCR – Stands for “optical character recognition” – AN OCR program reads scanned documents and transfers the data to text. It’s an old idea, as old as they started scanning documents but only in the past couple years have they been able to make it work well.

(continued) A lot of doctor’s offices use OCR programs when they transfer from the old school charts to the electronic charts. They use specialized versions that basically fill in the blanks of a data entry program so you can save it in the format of your choice. Anyhow, I’m rambling but a nice OCR program that transfers data accurately to your data entry program can be pricey so probably why you

(continued) don’t have one. Just a guess though, maybe the higher ups don’t know what an OCR is either. 😛

I can’t imagine going a year without an oven…Well, yes I can, since I live by the microwave. What is it that keeps you so tired? I suppose your entries aren’t that interesting per say, but the way you present them is, and you’re funny and random, so that helps. Haha, swingster, I like that. I didn’t know there was a song by that name, hmm. Methinks I will IM you sometime if you don’t mind 😛

I want to see that Howls movie quite badly. dont know if I am going to be able to fit it in though. which sucks. i dont dancy a DS or a PSP to be honest. I;m keeping mah cash for the new DBZ game on the PS2—-oooooh destructible scenery…*dribbles like a big dribbley thing*

you still look shexi though 🙂

Wow nice one on winning the ticket. I entered a competition to win a PSP and well, guess all the luck went to you ;-). Enjoy, *lick*

Thanks for the note. It’s good to have so much support at a time like this…. I completely agree on your point..and it is disgusting. No problem for the compliment..and thanks for returning it. Angie

very very cool. I’ve seen the FF:AC rip. I think I was on the edge of nutting my pants as well. It was very cool the only bad thing was that the camera angles changed way too quick to fully enjoy the movie the way it was meant to be. Alas, oh and a DS eh? The whole two screen things trips me out.

i like Adevent Children. but i also liked the other FF movie (the Spirits Within) so that might tell ya something. i don’t know. kudos on the tickets! that’s awesome
