Rainy Saturday
Green, green, green, the greeness is great! But, the cloudiness and rain can go for a while. We are inside today, I am sorting thru piles of “important papers” hehe, yeah sure.. and Stanley is working on the plumbing…he still has to hook up the bathrooms, laundry room, and kitchen…but the major work is done thanks to our good friend Ted helping him…we have saved thousands of dollars with Teds’ help.
We went out to dinner with 2 couples last night to our favorite Italian restaurant..I think everyone had a delicious meal…I had my favorite snapper florentine…yummy..I love that garlicy spinach!..We all came back to our house and Stanley poured the gentlemen some of his special scotch over ice…it was great to visit and talk as our friends had just returned from their vacation in Costa Rica!
We are all getting together tomorrow after we have our beach time and have grilled ribs…I am making a big tossed salad…I am going to post a picture from last sunday while we were at the beach…it was a beautiful sunny day from about 9:30am to about 1:30pm and then it clouded over and we scurried home…just in time to avoid the lightening and rain…yikes… a picture of our beautiful beach and our wonderful “beach buggy” hehehe
*sigh*……. it is soooooo lovely there!!….. sure will be glad when the ocean is my yard!!!……. (((hugs))) …… 🙂

This has some of your life before hardships that thrills me. of course you’ll hear from me, my private little nurse who answers questions and tells me how to care for K and lives somewhere close by–hehehe. i don’t know how I will write in the new diary but …we’ll see. I’ll keep you up to date and will await your entries, i assure you. Oswego does his so well, but …here, old dog new trick.

We had a rain Saturday too. Actually it was gray all day with several huge downpours. Our grass is usually brown this time of year. It’s never looked better. (We like the brown grass… don’t have to cut it). That you for your supportive notes Ollie. They mean a lot to me.

Dear Ollie, Sounds like you are enjoying summertime. It has been absolutely perfect beach weather here and I have been going to Folly Beach every evening to sit out by the ocean at sunset. Lovely! The seabreeze is balm to my soul. Will be heading out there this evening.. in a few hours. Have a great week! 🙂
