Off to NZ for the love in OD picnic….
Stanley is packed and I am nervously running around grabbing all the things I want to give to our wonderful hostess the beautiful gypsy girl……all this wonderful American Indian things for her that I have never mailed…now I can give them first hand….We ate all the S’more fixins around our own campfire last night…so I guess I will bring some brie in crust: as follows:
1 small baby brie
1 pillsbury roll up pie crust
apricot preserves
unwrap the crust and plop a big dollop of apricot preserves in the center, place the baby brie on top, fold over the edges of the piecrust to seal and turn over in a pie plate, brush with egg yolk and bake at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes until the crust gets golden brown…..serve with crackers and apple pieces….Enjoy and happy love day to everyone!
This sounds delicious! I’m looking forward to sampling it later. (And what is a S’More?)

Ah…so your fine fellow is becoming what I say is a REAL man this week…easy to pretend to be a real man in one’s twenties and such, but here’s where the REAL part begins! Happy Birthday to Stanley!

What a yummy-sounding recipe! I hope to try it sometime. ryn: Yes, I learned to iron on hankies, too! Isn’t that funny? But practical I guess….how can you mess up a little square of fabric? 🙂
