March 11, 2006

A belated happy birthday! Hope the day was a good one and you will have a happy decade of being 60ish. I’ll be 65 in June. It’s all a surprise. Loved the birthday cake above! What? You didn’t blow out the candle yet. Hurry, hurry.

March 11, 2006

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!!! I will be there soon, myself

March 12, 2006

Hope you had a very happy birthday. May you have many more. In ten years’ time I want to see a similar entry to this one on here! 🙂 Hugs

60 RULES! Today’s 60 is yesterdays 50. I really believe this. For many reasons people are more “youthful” today than in previous generations. Better nutrition right from pre-conception is a major factor. I don’t think people understand how important it is to have a couple of generations of good health “under your belt” in order to produce good offspring. We “boomers” are beneficiaries of this.

Happy Birthday! Thanks for the note, Ollie. I agree that Richard Gere should have been on that list! Maybe replace Orlando Bloom who is young enough to be my grandchil. 😉

Happy birthday to youhappy birthday to youhapppy birthday dear Olliehappy birthday to you AND MANY MORE!! Would ya believe, NINE noters here are Favs of mine! With 430,000 OD’ers that’s beyond coincidence. First CCC camp was at Huntington lake in mtns above Fresno, CA, next at Fallbrook inland from Oceanside, next Deafh Valley NM, and last one near old goldrush town, Murphys

March 16, 2006

Put you on my Favs list, Ollie. I hope the CCC camp life was as nice for your dad as it was for me. Being a young man in the Great Depression it was a wonderful experience to be with others like myself, doing useful work, good food, recreation & getting $30/mo for it (25 went to mom in Okla. She saved it for me & it paid for first year in college )

Hi hon, ryn: No, KitchenGoddess (http://www.opendiary.com/entrylist.asp?authorcode=D371262) is my wife. Paula and I just think alike. 🙂 Happy St. Patty’s Day to ya! Love,

…and a very happy birthday as well! 🙂

Not much hair left; originally brown

RYN: an air ticket to Christchurch costing US$6000 certainly sounds extreme. Our NZ dollar is worth a little less than the US dollar and, depending on what part of USA ( you live in a huge country) it should be possible to get a ticket for less than that in NZ dollars. That would be a return trip of course. Are you planning to visit our fair country?? Is your niece still here? hugs

A belated happy birthday.

March 18, 2006

A belated happy birthday from me too.

Hi Ollie, Andrew is a lot better. I can also not write when my mind is in a jumble. The Rand is our currency. and it is not strong against the Pound sterling or the US dollar. Hope you are well and that you had a good birthday

It is supposed to be getting autumn here now, but it is still summery hot.
