Poetry: Shiny and New
Shiny and New
===========================
I left with some passion
And started anew.
I’m loving this decision,
And this newfound view.
I’m off on a weekend
And I wonder what to do.
I’m sure I’ll find something,
To keep my head new.
Clueless and lost —
The place learns to do without me.
Tattered and tossed —
Their decisions are blinding.
They will survive
And make coin for their pocket;
I’ll fly higher and higher
On my shiny new rocket.
