Poem: Enigmatic

Enigmatic
==================================
Shored.
Life seems to ebb
At the tide of existence —
Only to prolong guilt
Over my shoddy sentence.

Prescribed by me
And faceless again;
The nightfall is welcomed
To release another demon.

Floored.
Belonging to the night,
The stars look onward, shining —
No control over blurry eyes,
I’m left to speak of this clouded shrining.

A shred of hope,
Placed inside the shrouded skyscape;
Leftover for someone who can feel it,
Digressing only to the hapless nape of the night.

Evenly overcome,
Outwardly overthrown;
The words unspoken
Are the strongest unshown.

Two ships passing on the horizon,
Signaling condolence over parted reminiscence
Still leave wake on the frigid seas
As ocean spray astern springs up precipitance.

A lot of depth in this poem. Dark yet hopeful if that makes any sense. It was definately enjoyed.
