“Hey bitch: Great Happy Birthday!”

Man I love French people. So adorable!

Because "Hey Bitch! Great Happy Birthday!" was the subject line of an email in my inbox this morning from a friend of mine in France.

Her name is Anne Flore, and we hosted her as an exchange student, gosh about 10 years ago now.

Her and I connected very strongly while she was with us in spite of my poor French and her poor English. All I can remember is speaking veeeeeeerrrrryyyyyy slowly in both French and English. It seemed to be the only way we could understand each other. For weeks after she returned to France, I still found myself talking very slowly out of habit.

Her English has greatly improved, to the point where she is using slang like "bitch." I love her. She is awesome.

My familly is fine, but they would like to know you and you don’t come!!!!!!!!!! When are you going to come to visit me?
 
I wish you all the best for this great day and say hello to your familly because you all miss me (she means because she misses all of us. The translation from French to English on this phrase is odd), i would like to see you so much!
 
Can you send me a picture of you and your friends or familly? I would like to see if you change something on your beautiful face!
 
Did you receive an other person in holidays after me? Imagine it’s a long long long time ago! and it was my best holidays in USA!

Tonight we are going out to dinner for my birthday and I will go out with a few friends. Tomorrow I have the day off from work and Chewie and I are going golfing (gotta get my vitamin D!) and then we are doing to a dinner theater to see the play Seven Brides for Seven Brothers.

Saturday and Sunday we will be up at the cabin. Sunday evening I will be going out on the town with a close friend or two or three or four. We’ll see.

Monday there is no work, because the United States is awesome.

I am sitting on a phone conference right now to discuss the new web design for our company. And I will be on the phone for the next 3 hours. And then in a training for 3 hours after that.
