you can all go ahead and laugh… *snort*
This is just going to be a very very little entry.
Here’s the gist of it. Today I bought the PS2 game "Dance UK." Hubby had bought me a dance mat a year ago at xmas but we hadn’t been able to locate an unbundled game until now (unbundled meaning one that didn’t already come witha dance mat). Anyhoo… I thought this would be a great idea for exercise… I mean… a bit of dancing??? I LOVE to dance!!!! So since this afternoon I have been dancing and stepping my way into a size 10 (Aussie sizes – remember this!) with the ambition of a short circuited robot. Someone should have put a warning on the box: "Plus size women need to remain calm and not engage in frantic, hyperactive states." If this had been clearly stated from the start, I probably wouldn’t be the sweaty, panting mess that I am now. My resting pulse plods along at about 65… having just taken it now i’ve discovered that it’s screaming at the formula one speed of 140. yay! In addition to this I have been swearing like a trooper at the mat which insists on slithering around the floor whilst I have trying to "bust these moves!" Is that not unfair? Could they have spent an exxtra 5 minutes in production manufacturing velcro tabs for the bottom of the blasted mat so that the blooming thing didn’t slid RIGHt out from underneath me during the critical jump, left, left, right, right move!
I have discovered yet another marvellous thing! It is the ideal tool in lowering excessively high blood sugars in diabetics! Bet you didn’t think PS2 could actually be GOOD for you did ya? Yes, I brought it over to work with me and as fate would have it, Lisa’s blood sugar was through the roof, so the most logical thing at that point is to make the poor child exercise. Since walking at 9.30 isn’t the most appealling idea for an 11 year old, I got her dancing and low and behold she dropped like a thermomoter on a cold day!
So you can all laugh now. The mere picture of my big bottom bouncing up and down on a dancing mat would be enough to reduce me to hysterics. Go ahead, laugh… I give you permission!!!!

I’m giggling because I am trying to imagine ME dancing on a dance mat. We have XBOX and I really want one of those mats… LOL Good for you!!!!

RYN: There are three different schools. One for nursing, one for medical doctors, and another for doctors of osteopathic medicine. If you get accepted into one of them, it’s only for that specific school. Did I answer that right? Just wondering.

i have no rhythm. sounds like good exercise though.

you should see me on the exercise bike! not only do i pedal…but I wave my arms around like a moron and dance a bit while I do it…..it’s a sight to see, for sure.

I would never be able to dance like that..I’m laughing at you! RYN: about the metric system, we were told in the 70’s we were gonna switch so we better learn it and the US hasn’t went to it yet. We do get Pepsi in liters, but that’s all I can think of. I like our system, you just have to remember all of it you can’t multiply…

RYN: I’ve decided to go to medical school. I went ahead and applied to nursing school just in something terrible happened like my husband lost his job or something.

The only laughing will be at the humorous way you write this entry! It sounds like a lot of fun. I should look into something like that!

well hon, tell me if it works for you, because my plus size a$$ needs to get into some shape, but knowing me and the story I just read about it moving around, I’ll be putting some velcro on the bottom of the damn thing. hehe, sorry I haven’t been on here for a while, but I will try to get on more often, I bet I would be getting killed, when I am actuallty on here more often. Lovez, channie

Hmm its hard sorting out a meetup with so many people to consider, some are coming down to Melb and I want them to have the opportunity to come along too … maybe a little later, like Dec 3rd or 4th or something? That way ppl have some time to sort their stuff out. Let me know!
