A Forbidden Relationship

During the party, she watched him discreetly; admiring his strength, the quiet power of his fighter’s body, his steely eyes, the confidence in his walk as he maneuvered through the room.

A few times, though it was dangerous as her family forbade her from associating below her elevated class, she placed herself directly in front of him, trying to get him to make his advance but he just wouldn’t respond to her.  He was stoic and unmoving.  This exasperated her no end … Damn him, DAMN him!

Unbeknownst to her, he was continually watching her, looking for just the right time to make his move on this forbidden flower with the sleek body.

The storm was increasing in intensity.  Each time the thunder boomed, he saw her jump a little.

As the storm increased, the other guests were drifting off to their rooms.  She thought this might be her opportunity.  She placed herself demurely on the sofa in front of the huge fireplace.  Her back was to the rest of the Big Room.  She wasn’t sure but she hoped she was alone with him.

The storm frightened her so.  She wished he would come up behind her, take her in his arms, comfort her, protect her from the storm and from life, she wanted that …

Suddenly, a crash of lightening, the power goes out, she screams.  He, seeing his opportunity, races to her side.  Though he knew it was forbidden, he pulled her to him.  He expected her to pull back, resist.  Instead, she clung to him, her sensuous body yielding to him, shaking.  Her heart melted in the closeness of their embrace.

The storm raged on … they knew their families would never understand this forbidden alliance; they had everything to lose … but still, she couldn’t resist him.  She was so afraid and he was so brave, so powerful.

It was an experience that neither ever had before … they were so immersed in each other they didn’t hear the click of the door opening or … the camera …
