To think….this could have been in my lungs
GRODY!!!!!!
For the last few days, we’ve been using these filters to filter out what I HOPE is all (maybe it isn’t all, but most?) of the tar from our cigarettes. Since then, I have been feeling a lot better, breathing better, and coughing more productively, for the most part. It’s disgusting to think that that nasty dark tar has been building up in my lungs for almost 16 years. How have I not killed myself yet?
We’ve been on a “Let’s Stop Smoking” kick lately. It hasn’t been totally successful, but I think it’s beginning to get itself integrated into our lives. Every time I light up, I get all yucked out about myself. I keep calling myself names and telling myself, “One step closer to death, dumbass!” Goddamn the day I first inhaled a cigarette, which was actually almost 10 years ago. Before that, I had not actually inhaled, so….
Anyway, look at that picture. It’s gross as hell!!!!! I can only wretchingly imagine what my lungs must look like!!!!!!
YUCK!!!!!!
My Mikey, I love you forever times PI cubed plus one,
Your Jack
