The news for now…

Well, it got more complicated. They discovered a blood clot in her right leg, and they will be checking for one in her neck today. Despite that, she’s in a really good mood today. I’m home, to let my water pills do some work and to rest a bit. I’ve been one running fool, lately.

When they told us about the blood clot, I got all hysterical. She got mad at me for crying about it, but we had BEEN arguing just before they told us. All I could hear in my head was that this one would break free and go to her heart.

I went outside and bawled my guts out, then I called Tiffany. She cheered me up and made me laugh. We’re both nervous about her mother’s condition, but it’s kind of a wait-and-see thing.

So all is well, for now. I hope to God it stays that way.
