Life is NUTS!!!!
My Mikey, I love you

I am going so crazy OMG! The other day, My Mikey and I resolved the issues had, which were the reasons for my last entries.
Since then, the shit has hit the fan with our family. MH accused Tiffany of being a liar. The situation pitted my mother and Tiffany against each other, and it looked as if Tiffany had been lying about her children. SHE HAS NOT LIED!!!!! My daughter is innocent, in that regard!
Mama has been talking to the caseworker for Naomi, our granddaughter, about getting custody….actually adopting her. The misunderstanding was this…..that case worker, whose name we shall call as Miss M, ONLY handles Naomi’s case, not the case for Alicia and Isaiah. I have spoken with Miss M personally, so I know for a FACT that my daughter has told us all the truth.
Mama was under the impression that she was discussing the adoption of all three children, which was not the case. She was only discussing Naomi. I don’t know how the calls actually went or what the paperwork said (though we’ll be getting the same paperwork soon), but Mama was under a false impression.
We ALL have to get in touch with Miss R, as we shall call the caseworker for Alicia and Isaiah. Miss M has all our information, so now My Mikey and I are on the list to adopt Naomi, should my mother’s case fall through or what have you. Miss R will put us on the list for Alicia and Isaiah. No one is on that list yet!!!!!
That means our grandbabies, the older two, could be adopted out to strangers!!!!! That won’t happen, because Bumpa and YaYa are intervening. Thank GOD it’s NOT too late!!!!!
Mama may want to get in touch with Miss R, as well, so that all three children stand a chance for placement in the same home, whichever home that will wind up being. It is very unlikely that Tiffany will regain custody, at least full custody, of any of the children. That doesn’t mean she’s out of their lives. No way, Jose. She’s very much still IN, and she will continue to be in them!!!!!
I am so glad I’ve gotten in touch with one of the caseworkers to straighten this ugly mess out. Now, we’ve got to talk to Miss R. After that, we just have to wait, fill out papers, wait, wait, and wait some more. They’ll inspect us and our home, and then they’ll decide if we deserve to have the children.
On the home front…..
All is going remarkably well now. Elisabeth and we have adjusted to one another now. We’ve been having a lot of fun, as a matter of fact. Not going places or doing things….just being together and establishing and re-establishing parent-child bonds.
I wouldn’t trade this for the world, and I will NEVER let it go.</spa

Love to all, and big smiles,
Jack
It sounds like things are looking up for you! I hope that you and Mikey get custody of the kids. I can think of no other person who would care for his grandchildren with more love then you. Lots and lots of hugs, John
