Insomniac’s surprise (maybe delight?)

My Mikey, I love you

Since insomnia is a persistent foe, I decided to do something constructive, yet quietly.  It is almost 5am, and My Mikey is sleeping.  I am dirty as hell and sweaty, but I made a sizable dent in the mess of the living room.  This may sound kinda dumb, but I also found a trash can that has been hidden for a while.  A small one.

We’ve been filling up water bottles, lately, to keep chilled in the refrigerator.  We have a TON of bottles leftover from the last few times we’ve bought water, so this works well.  Well, kinda.

If we’d actually fill them as soon as we emptied them, it would work well.  As it is, we have to fill about 30-35 at a time!!!!

I hope My Mikey is happy with what I’ve accomplished.  I may work on it some more, since a bath right now is really out of the question.  As I said, it’s quickly edging towards 5am…..not a good time to bathe.  Too much noise.

I have to attack the bathroom today, sometime, too.  And the kitchen.

Bomber is being a pain in the ass, and I’m about to throw the little punk outside, even though I’ll get in trouble from Mikey if I do that.  I can’t deal with this hyper-ass cat right now, though.  Why does he get this way LATE at night?!!!!

All is well.  The progress I’ve made has me feeling good.

Thank you to John, Chris, and, of course, My Mikey for the notes lately.  They help, whether you know it or not!

Love to all of you,

Jack

Sound like the plans that I have for this remainder of this weekend. I’m impressed that you can clean quietly enough not to wake Mikey. Whenever David tries to do any cleaning all you hear is “Damn it!” through out the house. Ignore Bomber completely when he acts like that early in the morning and he’ll learn to stop. By reacting (even if it’s just to say “shut up”) it will reinforce the behavior and make it worse. Lots of hugs and kisses to you and Mikey, John
