Happy Anniversary, Memaw and Papaw

It would be my grandparents’ 71st anniversary, had Papaw not died at their 61st year. 

I’m upset and depressed.  My cousin Lance just posted a very sarcastic response on Facebook about my wanting to adopt the girls.  He said, "Woo hoo.  Tax write-offs!"

The only one in my family who seems happy for me is my sister, Mary Helen aka MH.  Mama’s response was, "Oh no.  You’re not giving away everything I’ve worked for!"  I still don’t know what the fuck she meant by that!!!!!  

Am I THAT shitty a person that I don’t deserve to have my own kids?  Is that why nobody in my family is happy for me, except the most unlikely one?
