A fine piece of nothing

So he was a "nothing".

That’s apparently what Johnny Cash’s father told him.  Well, like most people seem to have, I have a parallel to that in my life.  Nanny.  That’s all I’m going to say about that portion of it, but I have something to say from the standpoint of a parent.

If I were EVER to behold someone telling my children…even our GROWN daughter Tiffany…that she was a "nothing", they would be picking themselves up off the floor and reinflating themselves from the mushy pancake they had become after this Mama had beaten them bloody and senseless.  NOBODY talks to my children that way.  I would even defend them against Mikey if he were to say something like that.  I know he wouldn’t do that, though, so there’s no fear.

But if Nanny EVER EVER EVER took a notion to attack one of our girls, then she best be prepared.  Senile or not, nobody is attacking my children.

And she best not do it to Alex or Juli, either.  Or ANY of my babies.  I will hurt her.  I don’t mean physically, because of her age and status, but I would tear her to BITS mentally.  She’d be lucky if she didn’t stroke out by the time I finished with her.

I’m mad as hell, because I heard that Cash fellow tell his son that he was nothing.  That is fucking WRONG!!!!!!!

If he was a nothing, then he was, like everyone I know is, a fine piece of nothing.

Love and hugs,

Some people do nothing but harm their children.
