11:46am – The day, so far

Proving it, bit by bit……

My Mikey had a realization this morning about one of his aunts and his mother.  They had a feud, once upon a time.  Now, Mommy is dead and the aunt will be soon enough.

He realized WHY they had a feud, and that he’d defended Mommy when she may not have "deserved" it.  Well, to my way of looking at things, it’s only human nature to defend your parents, even if your parents are wrong as hell about some things AND YOU KNOW THEY ARE/WERE WRONG!!!!!

Marcia, the aunt, has a brain tumor now.  This morning, for some reason, the feud between Marcia and Mommy (Alicia) came up in our talk.  I don’t recall exactly HOW that came up, but it did, and he had his realization….Marcia was mad at Mum for not defending My Mikey against his father.  That in itself is not a bad reason for a fight….not sure if it’s grounds for a permanent feud, though.  Marcia and Mum were sisters, and I find it hard to fathom (even with my sister being as she is [ok, to be fair, I must say that I am stubborn as a jackass, too]) a lasting feud with a sibling.

Marcia wasn’t being an impartial outsider.  My Mikey had family support, in a way, after all!  This, to me, is outstanding news!!!!  We had thought that he never had any, except, of course, from our children and Mum.

I miss Tiffany.  I miss her very much.  Betty REALLY misses her, even more than I do.  She’s really Betty’s daughter, I guess, though I stake a claim, too.  But….Betty is the "young mother" of this body, so….I have to surrender decision-making capabilities and "maternal" support to Betty.

I woke up coughing pretty badly from the stupid air conditioner….no mask, and my blanket apparently didn’t stay over my head all night long.  Otherwise, though, this has been a really good day, so far.

Lola just woke up (probably for the second or third time, if the truth be known), so I’m hoping for smoothness with her and My Mikey AND her and Hank.
