no wonder.
I need to change my attitude?
Fuck you you fucking self righteous prick.
Thanks for fucking inviting me along.
My mother gives me this book about mindfulness for christmas.
She’s the one who needs the refresher course.
These people all fucking suck.
Yes. I am hurt.
But I’m the one who needs to change my attitude.
Wow, brother, you sure sound a lot like my father.
Yes. I am the one with the attitude problem because you are a shitty person.
But don’t let me be offended by that.
I am in a deep rage now.
I could go outside and run into things.
Is there a business that offers that?
A gymnastics center for kids maybe?
I would love to just throw myself into padded things.
Jump into a pit of foam and just lay there.
Fucking lame ass people. Don’t know how to be polite.
I am better than you because at least I’m fucking trying.
Nobody really cares about one another.
You don’t need to include me in things.
Right you just tell me the schedule.
lalalalalala
Okay. Now I am done.
Today I will look forward to playing pool.
And in the meantime…
Mindfulness is a lot of things. It’s also just a buzz word right now. But mindfulness is a valid psychological concept to describe the state of the mind. Do you think that book has anything more intelligent and insightful than the wikipedia entry on mindfulness?

RYN- yea I actually have seen Zeitgeist a few times, even the follow up documentary. Even the Zeitgeist is full of flaws and misinformation, if not more than the Government it’s trying to exploit.

I remember the formalities, smile and fake it all in public then back to normal (for us) in private. All until I just gave up on trying and putting up with it all. RYN: you are spot on, office politics! as bad as real politics.

RYN: How did i do it? i stopped calling, coming around, said I was busy, etc. They had no fuel without me there. Aren’t we told the best way to diffuse a situation is to remove yourself from it? Well, I did! After a year+ those that really brought on stress in my life changed attitudes towards me. Those that cared stayed by my side and realized I am my own person and need to be treated so.

Standing my ground and showing that life goes on really made them think I guess. I was treated with more respect and not taken for granted. No, family never became the Cleavers but thats fine. I realized I am the one that has to change to stop a vicious cycle. Never surrender, head held high, get on with life.
