I got a house!!!

Finally we will be moving to a bigger house!!! I am so happy, especially since I have been in love with this house since August 2004. To finally have the key to it & be able to say it’s mine makes me grin so hard my teeth actually hurt!!

The house has several perks;

1. It is only 2 blocks from where I live now. The kids can go to the same school they do now, it’s still walking distance and they can keep all their goofy little friends!

2. It’s 2 blocks closer to one of my favorite aunts’ refridgerator, I mean house!! She is one the best cooks I have ever met & now she has own catering busines and I will gladly sample all of her new creations. It’s the least I can do for her.

3. MORE ROOM!!!!!! It has 5 bedrooms. 2 bedrooms on the main floor & 3 upstairs. A nice sixe kitchen to cook in, with plenty of cabinet space. A real living room & dining room not one room chopped up to look like 2 rooms. A patio for BBQ’n this summer. And a decent size backyard so when I kick the kids out of the house cause they are getting on my nerves they have somewhere to go play. 

We don’t have to feel like the couple in that Geico Auto Insurance commercial anymore. You know the ones who live in the tiny house for 1 year. Yeah!! 

4. It rents for the same amount as the little house we live in now!!

So we are very, very excited. We move in on Saturday and we look forward to having the time of our lives doing it!!!
