What the…?
One thing I have learned in sixty years of life is that…
it never gets easier.
No matter how hard you work at being a good person, or how much money you have… or don’t have, or how great a family you have, or how many friends… still,
life is full of unexpected twists and turns.
Every time you think you’ve got it figured out, fate has a way of smacking you in the face with the next big surprise.
So, what do I do about that?
I put my head down and push ahead, because
there is no other choice!
Because tomorrow might be better.
And most times it is.
It’s a never ending cycle.
Life!!!
I suppose it’s kind of interesting that way, though sometimes it’d be nice to have a bit of warning! Hoping tomorrow IS better for you. xxx

I hope your challenges are not overwhelming. Even then I suppose we can only inch forward…but still. I hope that “this too, shall pass” in your world. You blue background looks like lines of leaping dancers! (But that could just be my slowly waking brain before my morning chai kicks in!) :)xo

RYN: No, I didn’t know I could. That will show the number?

RYN: Oh, there’s big-time rivalry between Scottish and English, moreso on the Scots part because there are still niggles about being ‘ruled’ by England and the land clearances and so on. The majority of England forgets that Scotland exists. This is all magnified at the moment (for me) because Scotland are not in the World Cup, whereas England are. Meanwhile Britain’s hope for Wimbledon is actually

…Scottish and completely objects to being referred to as “British”. Of course, most Scots completely object to him being “stolen”, too. *rolls eyes*!
