Go Figure

I had a final conference call with one of my best (and favorite) clients to introduce the new consultant and ended up handing him a deal that would have made my goal for this year.

JT could tell I was upset at that thought and asked me, if they came to me tomorrow and asked me to stay, would I. At first I didn’t answer. Then after thinking about it, I came to the realization that the answer is

NO!!!!!!!! I am out of there.

JT has been great about this “forced” retirement and has been nothing but supportive. He is even working on CDs for each retirement party attendee with ” retirement songs”. Some are funny and some are snarky. I love it! Not sure my boss will though.

A fitting parting gift.

You do what makes you happiest. I did. Be well.

That “NO!” was the right answer, Nimue. Wish I had retired earlier and had more fun traveling around with wife. She died in 1997 and it’s no fun traveling by myself. Willy of

They say everything happens for a reason. I’m not sure if that’s really true, but you, by your actions and attitude, are making it true. Much good luck to you in your upcoming retirement. 🙂

There is NO doubt that you will be missed dearly once you’re out of there and done! Keep smiling. G~
