Best Oatmeal Cookies

My retirement present to myself was a Kitchenaid 6 quart stand mixer. My first effort was a batch of oatmeal (with raisins and pecans) cookies. JT said they were the best he ever had.

Next up, my Mother’s butter cookies. No one has ever been able to make them like her.

Then, it’s on to trying making bread.
