piss off crow

I had a really good lunch today. Chicken, potatoes, salad, some kind of mushrooms and corn. And I pigged out on fruit in the morning. Watermelon, cantelope, pineapple and grapes.

I was watching a movie a while ago. The title and premise aren’t really that important. The main character looks a bit like my brother. fukokuno-kyouou.blog.so-net.ne.jp/_images/blog/_2d7/fukokuno-kyouou/william.jpg I was trying to focus on the movie and a crow in the tree by my front window kept on cawing. I put up with it for about 30 minutes. At that point I didn’t know where the crow was.

I stood outside on the grass and spotted it up in the tree almost obscured by the green leaves. I said "Hey you get away from here." The crow seemed to caw even louder at that point. I went to the back and found a small piece of loose ashphalt. I told the crow to piss off as I threw the ashphalt at one of the branches. With an angry caw the crow flew away to annoy someone else.

I bought a brand new microwave last weekend for $40 before taxes. The retail price was $60 or $70 so that’s pretty good. It had an 18 month warranty on it. I added on an extra year though. My crappy microwave is working ok for now. And I found my old combo dvd/vcr in my walk in pantry. I need to give that away. The VHS part works but not the dvd player.

I decided to not pick the package up from Canpar. The place is on the other side of the city. They were only open for one hour during the day and I didn’t appreciate that lady telling the company I would pick the package up when she didn’t even know if I could be there or not. I sent Amazon an email about what happened. Well 4 emails. In the replies they seemed to not understand all that I was conveying. So i would have to send another one to make sure they had the info right. They were helpful though. I had the choice to get a refund or the package sent again. They indicated they had no control over if the package was sent by UPS or Canpar. They must have control to a certain extent but I didn’t push it.

I decided to get the refund because I have no desire to deal with canpar in the near future. I have tomorrow off. I had Monday off as well but that was because I worked on Saturday.
