I went to a nice Funereal on Saturday. When the hymms were sung during the service it sounded as though angels were singing. And no it wasn’t me, I have a crappy voice.

Today I went into the kitchen at work to heat up my frozen meal. i glanced into the sink and saw a piece of melon with seeds on it. Gross I thought. Then I looked closer and saw what I realized to be a swarm of fruitflies, on the melon and on a rag that was by the melon.  I grabbed a pot put it on top of the melon and turned the water on. Several fruitflies managed to escape from their watery grave. The rest will not be missed.

I live In an apartment building right behind the back of a strip mall. Often after work I will stop at one of the stores to get something. One of the tenants in the mall is the gym Ironworks. It is one of the businesses that is close to my place. So I walked back and saw a man go into the gym doors. Then I saw something move abruptly above his head. As I moved closer I saw that just above the door, on the metal ledge was a small bird. I didn’t like the idea of someone knocking the bird over as they walked in. So I walked right up to the bird, in hopes of scaring it into flying away.

My finger was close enough that if I leaned in a bit more I would have been touching the birds tail feathers. I had nothing to put the bird in and didn’t want to reach out to touch it. And I have a cockatiel and didn’t want to risk him catching an illness or getting freaked out. I just went to mail some letters a while ago. There was no sign of a bird carcass anywhere. Maybe the bird had bumped into the glass and managed to recover. I don’t  like seeing critters that are in distress.

The first paragraph made me laugh, I have a terrible voice too. Can’t carry a tune to save my life! Hope the bird was okay.

I hate seeing sad little animals like that. The other day I was driving home on this long deserty road and there were frogs hopping across it. Im afraid I ran over a couple. 🙁

birds flew into the windows of our house a few times. one time, my brother and i heard a loud smack against the glass window. we went outside and there was a small sparrow sitting on the walkway, looking stunned and breathing heavily. we called our dad to figure out what to do. we could even touch it. we ended up watching it recover its senses and fly away. just got the wind knocked out of it
