Where I’m at 7/28

Where to start??? 2 weeks in with 7 11, stuff is making sense. I am an old dog learning new trick though and it been somewhat overwhelming with the 2 much younger manager trainees.

The one has “crack” energy and things are usually finished before I can even get into the conversation. He has just come off managing something where it’s been over 12 years for me. He and I will be going to another training store and I kind of wish we weren’t so I can have more time with that manager. I mean, I know I can do it, but just something inside me doesn’t like having the young whipper snapper at the same level constantly talking to me as if I don’t understand.  Not condescending,  just annoying.

Got my cortisone shots today, so I too can somewhat run with them…LOL

The first check came and went, but things are paid.

Wish I had an air conditioner. Been unpleasant for an overweight man recently.

And of course,  I’m missing Patty. Aug 3 would be or 17th married anniversary and 25 year together.  Just stopped by to drop stuff off to the kids and there’s a pile of pine trees laying by the road. My Father planted all those when I was like 6years old. Just more memories taken away from my childhood home by her and him. Did I just say I’m missing her? Yeah, that’s how fucked up I am…
