What’s new?

Not much, actually.

Yesterday we went to the University District Street Fair. I ate a whole ton of fried food >.>  Actually not as much as I probably would have in the past… I am establishing good habits, yay for me.  I had a lot of fun, though. Lots of different artisans to look over, lots of people to watch. I bought presents for two of my old Colorado friends. Would have spent more money but I’ve developed fairly good habits for that as well, ha ha.

Later in the evening, Jeff and Kate came over and we watched The Usual Suspects. It was not as good as I remembered but it was really hard to focus because we were doing a lot of socializing and stuff.  I made these drinks with this organic 100% pineapple coconut juice and coconut rum. They were very tropical tasting which I liked. Then we had root beer floats. Ha! Talk about healthy!

Overall I am down 19 lbs. I can’t give a time range because I don’t exactly know when my starting weight was, but it was at some point when I worked at Avanti, so November or before. 3 lbs a month-ish? That’s not as great as I thought. But it IS great that it’s working at all. So continue the course.

Brian’s trying to plan a trip to Minnesota around the 4th of July. I’m wanting to go to see my Minnesota friends as well as his family, but his work is a lot more flexible than my own. Plus I don’t even know if I qualify to use vacation by then. If I had to guess, I would guess the END of July would be when I can take vacation. Also, I’m wanting to go home to Colorado this summer, too!  GAH! Need to get planning!
