Transitions and awesomeness **EDIT**
** Never realized how long its been since I updated my profile pic. I don’t even have long hair anymore LOL. I cut all of it off in March? Or February. Something like that. lol Shantel did a fabulous job on it! **
So I am finally here for a proper update. Random note before I get started… I LOVE Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls. Lol
Anyway, lots of things going on. Cant really remember it all but in just this month alone I spent a few days in Jonesboro, Arkansas because Shalonda’s mom had an episode with her heart and was admitted in the hospital. I went there for support since she is my best friend and spiritual twin sister.
I also spent a couple of days in Ocala, Florida the following week because my grandmother was admitted in the hospital and wasnt doing well at all. She was in such bad shape that we didn’t get to talk to her. But I’m believing in healing and peace for her. I think she’s doing better now. July 20th was stupid busy with our youth event, A Night with the King. That night was AMAZING! God showed up in a mighty was that night and the weeks leading up to it. My kids have matured so much in the Holy Spirit that it is unreal. Derrick Gibbs and his crew joined us in worship. Their music and worship is amazing. Last week I went to Little Rock, Arkansas Thursday for a skate party with Shalonda, Mike Mike, Shantel, and Laverne. We met up with my brother and Derrick Gibbs and the Pro Squad since they were hosting the party. We had a great time! We got in about 330 am and headed right back out to the church to catch the charter bus to Dallas Texas.
Our pastor had a speaking engagement there. I wasn’t going to go but a guy named Terry at our church sowed $300 for me and Carnibi to go. He couldn’t go because of work but wanted to bless someone. Mind you we didn’t ask for a dime. Carnibi and I started crying at the gesture. He also put an additional $50 in my hand for food/spending money. How sweet! We got there Friday evening because the bus stopped and had to be fixed. But where it stopped I met a SUPER sexy Mexican guy. I gave him my number after my twin and lovely youth embarrassed me and put me on the spot. He hasn’t called me though. Sadness. But Saturday at the hotel I got to chatting it up with the photographer. He was handsome as well and he gave me his Facebook info. He said if I come to Dallas again he would take me on a photo shoot to work with him. I haven’t talked to him since but it was a nice gesture. He gave me the biggest hug ever and kept telling me that I’m awesome. He also kept giving me photography pointers. I recently found out that one of the Pro Squas members may be interested in me but he hasn’t attempted to talk to me yet. He’s a cutie pie. Reminds me of Andre 3000 from Outcast in the face.
In two weeks I will be MOVING!!! I start school in St. Louis! Yes it finally came together. Still got some loose ends to tie together but God has confirmed over and over that this is His will and He will take care of my every need so I will trust Him and let it all unfold.
