So yesterday was my birthday….

I actually had a good day. I stayed up until 6 in the morning so Im really surprised I wasnt sleepy all day. lol. I was talkin to Ben while he was at work from like midnight until 2. I was online and he was on mobile yahoo. He messaged me which I was impressed because he was thinkin of me at work. lol. Anyway I got offline around 2 because he was gettin a little busy at his job. He said around 3 his time he’d be counting the money and closing so he might have to let me go while he does it. It was gettin close to 3 his time so I was like I’ll go ahead and let you go now and I’ll catch you soon. So when I got offline he texts my phone sayin he’s gettin done ahead of time so give him like 45 mins and he’ll text me when he got home. So I said it was cool not really expecting him to do so cause I figured he’d be tired after work. I was wrong. lol. We talked until about 5 in the morning and I was like I’m gonna try to get some sleep because Im goin out w/ the fam in a few hours. So he wished me a happy bday and told me I was in his prayers and his usual goodnight sayings. lol.

At 5:30 I get a text from Chris (Kevin’s brother). That doesnt surprise me because he usually texts me when he gets off from work. So I was like I’ll talk to him for a few mins then I’m goin back to sleep. He had me call him and we talked for about 15 mins before we both got sleepy. I finally fell asleep around 6 and got up a quarter til 10 to get ready to go out w/ the fam for my bday. Before we left my dad’s friend Donnie stopped by with his 2 little girls (twins). He usually drops in to chit chat with dad but I was in my room puttin on my makeup so I had no clue he was here. Dad comes in and was like come on out here for a min because Donnie wants to wish you a happy bday. He came bearing gifts! I was like whoa I was totally not expecting this. He got me a necklace w/ a really cool dogtag on it. The dogtag has picture of Jesus’ face on it, a little cross above his head and his name right under it. It’s a really pretty picture. I LOVED it. He got my dad one a while back but dad’s just had a big cross on it. I loved his because Ive never seen anything like it so I told dad I wanted one back then. I told dad to ask Donnie to get me one and I’ll pay him for it. I didnt even think dad remembered to tell him but I love mine more than dad’s. lol. Donnie also gave me 3 bottles of perfume that he makes himself. They all smell really good and if anyone knows me they know I love different fragrances. So Donnie was like of course Im gonna take care of ya because we’re family and he called me his niece (sp?…brain-dead) lol.

I invited Hollie to go with us shopping so we could hang out before she left but she said she couldnt come which is cool. We just pretty much browsed around a few stores. I got a read leather elephant keychain. I like keychains and dad got me 6 books by Dee Henderson. Actually they’re 2 huge books but they have 3 of her novels in each and they’re both part of the same series so yay! new reading material. We went out to eat at Barnhill’s Buffet and OMG it was SO good. They’re food was like really fresh and I just really liked it. Im not usually a fan of buffet person but this one was good so I’m a fan. lol. Then we went to TCBY for dessert. I got a Mocha Chiller and I got my bro a chocolate milk shake. Dad ate dessert at the buffet and mom just shared mine.

Throughout the day I got text messages and birthday phone calls. Stevi sent me a text wishin me a happy bday again (she wished it to me that night because she stayed up with me til I got offline) and tellin me she loves me. Ben texted me again to wish me a happy bday and talk to me for a bit. He called me a weirdo because he asked me if I was gonna have a big cake w/ lots of candles and I told him I actually dont care for cake. lol. Lisa called me from work to wish me a happy bday. I need to call her today. Kerri called me too and we talked for a bit. Hopefully we’ll get to go see her soon for babygirl’s bday. God willing.  Josh didnt even remember my bday. That’s always nice. When I mentioned it he was like mine is in 3 days. Still didnt say anything about mine so I was like oookay. We were arguing anyway last night. lol.
