NoJoMo 5 & 6

Okay so I missed yesterday. Thats what happens when you’re occupied all day. Anywho I couldnt tell you what all I did yesterday other than youth group. I love the kids (teens) in youth group. One in particular has a special spot with me though. Her name is Bailey and she is such a special kid. She’s so well mannered and intelligent. She’s come a long way. She’s always had troubles at home and had gotten into trouble with the law too but she has come such a long way that she’s pretty much done a 180 in such a short time. She tells me she looks up to me and I’m one of the ones that helps keep her going. She calls me mama and she always gives me all kinds of hugs and kisses just like any daughter would. There are a few other girls that call me mama but I dunno. They all love me but I think with Bailey it means more to her when she says it.

Anywho, I absolutely fell in LOVE with the game Rock Band. That is so what I want for Christmas. I’ve never been a huge video game player but I just love this game. I think the guitar is my favorite part to play. I played it with Deannia’s 13  yr old daughter Brit and Brit’s friend Megan. They laughed at me the first time I tried it because I didnt know what I was doing but Brit told me today that I’ve gotten really good at the guitar. And I’ve only played it for 2 days lol. The drums I’m absolutely horrible at and I’ve only tried the mic once.

Onto other news, I met this guy Cliff at a Sonic that me and Deannia frequent. We usually swing by there everyday for something to drink or ice cream. Small stuff like that. Anyway, apparently he was attracted to me because when I wasnt with Deannia he’d always ask about me like where I was at and stuff. Well one day Deannia calls me telling me he asked her what my name is, what my age is, if I am single and stuff like that AND gave her his number to pass to me. Well at first I wasnt going to call him because I knew absolutely NOTHING about him. Didnt even know his name (Cliff) until she told me (he told her that day). But after her and Brit asking several times if I had called him and a little encouragement from other friends I decided to call and at least get to know him.

So I called him Friday. And it was over from there. He called and texted me constantly everyday until yesterday. He even talked about wanting to get me a ring for Christmas and stuff like that. I’m all like wth? its not even been a week. So Tuesday I was like I think you’re getting way too attached too quickly. He threw a tantrum and was like I’ll just leave you alone then. So I said can we not just be friends? Why does it always have to be all or nothing with guys? Anyway, he said I was right and he’d back off a little. Cool right? Wrong. The next day (yesterday) he did the exact same thing saying what if I want to be attached to you and be with you and blah blah blah. I told him I’d talk to him later because I had to get ready for youth group. He called during youth group and obviously I didnt answer. I didnt get home from youth and a trip to Walmart with my youth pastor Mrs. Lisa after until 9:30-10 pm. So I thought I’d be nice and text him letting him know I wasnt going to call him even though I have no obligation to explain myself to him or even call him every night since we werent dating. Anyway I even told him why I wouldnt be calling because I had several things I had to get done before going to bed and I wouldnt feel like talking on the phone by the time I got settled down. His response? Dont worry about it I’m done. I responded with "Done with what?" knowing full well what he meant but I wanted to see what he’d say or if he’d even respond. He didnt respond and I havent heard from him today. lol. Oh well. Its for the best. Thats for sure.
