NJM 22 – Mmmm dark chocolate cake pics

Yeah I suck at NJM! lol. I tried though! And I have written more this month than I have in probably the past couple of years soooo I’d say thats progress no? Anyway I’m mad that I STILL dont have OD Plus after I paid for it on the 4th. I only paid for a month but still. If I pay for service I should have service right? And yes I left a private note on the DM’s diary with a pasted copy of my paypal email receipt. I’ve not even gotten a response from the DM. Whats up with that?! I am so not paying for a year until he fixes this that’s for sure! Not spending more money if I can’t even get the $3 worth of service I already paid for.

Anyway, not much going on here. Yesterday Mrs. Renee fell out on the church parking lot in the Spirit. It was amazing. She was speaking in the Spirit over a lot of things, including the healing of a young lady named Kenya. She just started coming to our church not too long ago and has been battling with cancer. Mrs. Renee battled with cancer herself and hers was pretty severe but she beat it. So she definitely encouraged Kenya and I’m lookin forward to Kenya’s healing REAL soon.

On the personal front, I’ve just been hanging out with my bro Josh. I love when he’s home from the dorms. I made a dark chocolate cake from scratch today for the first time. It was my first cake from scratch period! It wasn’t as hard as I thought it would be. Next time I think I’m going to go all out and try to make the icing from scratch too. I’ve always been fascinated with cake decorating shows of any kind. And dad has always encouraged me to explore it. I watch shows like that so much I got dad into them with me. lol So I may invest here and there on little things and learn a little as I go. See where things go from there. It could possibly be a fun little hobby. First things I want to invest in is a turntable and an icing smoother for sure. It would make it so much easier to ice a cake and make it smooth. I got so frustrated trying to smooth out the icing turning the cake on a plate and smoothing it with a butter knife. LOL It was not working so I just gave up. Everyone says the cake looks pretty good but I thought it could have been much better. Dad liked the way it tasted though. I made it for him because he requested a chocolate cake with white icing specifically.I’m not much of a cake person so I haven’t had a piece yet.
