New guy? Im prayin… lol
So this past weekend was awesome. Thursday (May 20th) LeRoy called me and told me he was in town. I was about to wash my hair so he was like well you want to come over and have dinner with the fam? Of course I was like heck yes because that is my other family. I get over there and get to talkin with LeRoy annnnd his brother Braxton walks in with this guy. I didnt know LeRoy brought a friend home with him named Anthony. So I was like hi nice to meet you blah blah blah and we all get to talking. We sat around talking for a bit then LeRoy’s friend Luke comes over so we all could watch Taken. Everyone had seen it before except Roy. Thats a great movie. Afterward we get to yappin for a bit longer before Luke gets up to leave because it was getting late. I caught a ride home with Luke.
Friday (May 21st) I go over to LeRoy’s house about 4ish? in the evening to hang out. We watched tv for a while before heading to the high school graduation because LeRoy’s step bro and cousin were graduating. It was an outdoor graduation and blazing lol. After the graduation we stopped by Luke’s house for a few mins then headed to LeRoy’s Aunt’s house for a graduation celebration. The food was great but it was crowded so me and Anthony ended up sharing a chair at the dinner table while we were finishing off dessert. We shared a CRAPLOAD of strawberries lol. They were amazing. The sweetest strawberries I’ve ever had and there wasnt a stitch of sugar on them. Anthony and I tore them up. So much so that there was one left on the plate we were sharing. He picked it up to eat it but he stopped to say something to LeRoy. In that split second I took it out of his hand. lol. He looks at me and was like no you didnt. lmao. I just laughed and gave it back to him. He was like split it? I said sure so he was like feeding me half of the last one. We’re fiends I know. lol. So after stuffing ourselves stupid LeRoy, Anthony, and I head to my house so I can grab some pjs and clothes for the next day. I always end up spending at least a night over there when Roy is home. We get to his house about midnight and we all plus his brother Braxton plopped down on the couches to watch Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. Super cute movie. Anyway during the movie Roy and Braxton had a couch to themselves and I shared one with Anthony. I was laid out on my half with my legs draped over my side’s arm and kinda twisted just enough to hug the pillow i was laying on. He was laid out the same way. His hand ended up under my pillow eventually and… he started freakin holding my hand! In my head I was like holy crap. I didnt move it because I thought he was cute and who am I to argue if he wants to be brave and hold my hand? lol Braxton fell asleep on the movie and so did Roy but Roy got up and went to bed. So it was just me and Anthony left to finish the movie. So we get to talking about any and everything. He starts runnin his fingers through my hair and staring at me in my eyes telling me how his first impression was I’m stunningly beautiful and my hair is so long and beautiful and I have a great complexion and my big brown anime eyes would be the end of him and on and on and on. Im just like stunned. It all came out of nowhere really. He was stroking my face and tracing his finger along my nose and such. Oh and I asked him how he was enjoying his visit so far. He was like I feel at peace here, like I was meant to be here to meet an awesome person like you. So I was like what makes you say that. So he started to tell me he just moved back to STL about a week or two ago so he’s living with his mom. He told his mom Roy invited him to join the trip and his mom was like you can go if you find a job before Wednesday. He got an interview Tuesday and found out he got the job Wednesday morning. He and Roy headed out late Wednesday night. Is that not nuts? Anyway he continued playing in my hair, stroking my face, and staring at me for hours as we talked saying that knowing he can make me smile makes him smile and he definitely wants to get to know me better. Eventually he gets up to get me HIS blanket that he brought for himself because I didnt bring one and tucks me in. Like literally tucks me in. Lays back down next to me and goes back to my hair and stuff this time blowing soft cool air on my face. He was like I’m trying to relax you and put you to sleep. It worked like a freakin charm. I was out but I’m a light sleeper so I felt him trying to inch out from under my head (my pillow was propped up against his lap). But I didnt stir because I knew he needed sleep and I heard him whisper to me sweet dreams before he went to bed. Freakin AWESOME.
Saturday (May 22nd) we all get up to get ready for a wedding at 2. Roy ran to Luke’s for what was supposed to be a few minutes. That turned into a couple of hours so Anthony and I ended up getting a nap in. Roy comes home and we head out to the wedding that we couldnt find. So we missed that. We rode around for a couple of hours then head back to Roy’s house until the play at 6. The boys and girls club were performing the Brandy and Whitney Houston version of Cinderella. It was too cute. I really enjoyed it. Luke met us at the play then afterward we went to El Puerto to eat dinner where Roy’s mom Mrs. Lisa met us. We head to Roy’s house after that where Luke met us to watch Over the Hedge. I LOVE that movie. Anthony and Luke had never seen it. After the movie Roy went to bed, Luke left, and Braxton had to go to bed too. So again it was just me and Anthony. Obviously I decided to stay another night. Pitiful I know but shoot I have NEVER been spoiled like that before. Of course I was going to stay to see if I could get one last night of it before they left. lol. And I was right. Round two started soon as we were sure everyone was settled in bed while we watched tv. That night though he threw in a scalp and temple massage on top of everything he spoiled me with the night before. Oh and all day he had been taking random pics of me with his phone and finding some way to stroke my hair or face on the slick when no one was looking. He couldnt make it obvious because that definitely was no time to answer questions since we technically just met and he is Roy’s friend and all. lol. The thing is he didnt even attempt to kiss me. He was a perfect gentleman that spoiled me rotten. LOVE it. I gave him my number and he tucked me in to put me to sleep again.
The morning they left (Sunday May 23rd) he gave me a big long hug and whispered that he hopes I always have sweet dreams. I went home after they left thinking okay lets see if he’ll call me and is serious about wanting to get to know me or if this was just a nice extraordinary out of the mundane existence that is my life. lol. He texted me that evening. Texted me yesterday and called me last night. He texted me today too and suggested I call him tomorrow after work.
So a little bit about Anthony. He’s 23, Christian, no children, celibate (or trying to be), really wants to grow in his relationship with God and better himself, he plays guitar and drums and sings, LOVES children like I do, does MMA amateur fights as a hobby, wants to maybe model after saving up the money to get his teeth fixed. (I think he’s rather attractive though). Ummm I’m probably missing some stuff but yeah. Right now I am just trying to get to know him better and build a friendship first.

for me guys that I dont get ahead of myself and most importantly God. It all came out of the blue and I definitely DO NOT want to rush into anything or read more into anything than I should. Either way it was a perfect weekend. Happy birthday to me (early birthday since my bday is on the 28th). Anyway I love you all and I’ll be back to update soonish. 🙂 God bless you all.
