Jeff Dunham…
Was awesome! He had a brand new act of course. Guitar guy opened for him and of course did a bit with Peanut. I heart Peanut. I wanted a frackin (thanks Donnie for the word) Peanut doll but they were $50! Fail. I refuse to pay $50 for a doll. Cannot do it. lol There were no cameras of any kind allowed inside. The ushers even got onto people trying to take pics with their phones and threatened to take the phones away until the end of the show. Wtfrack right? So no pics of the show either. Ultra fail. Anyway Jeff fuh fuh introduced a new character, a female named Diane. I wasnt too crazy about her but maybe she’ll grow on me as I see him start using her more. Walter, Achmed, Peanut, and Jose were fabulous as usual. Lets rewind shall we?
Jeff Dunham was on the 15th. On the 14th Deannia went to the ER to get 4 staples in her head where a bedpost fell on her and cut it open. She was helping a friend move and it just plopped right on her when they were taking it down. She’s okay though (obviously since we went to the show the very next day). I went over her house and stayed the night just in case she needed anything. That was a blast. Stayed up doing girly things with her, her daughters, and her niece Whitney. The next day we were kinda lazy and took it easy until about 3 when we got ready to head out for the show. Her truck overheated but held out long enough to get to her mom’s house (which was on the way to the show thank goodness). Her mom let us borrow a car and we were on our way. We got to Southaven annnnd ate at the Waffle House right across the street from the venue. The food was fantabulous and apparently I was looking fantabulous too. Why do you ask? Because this old man came up to our table and asked Deannia if he could take me home. Of course he didnt mean it and he wasnt being pervy about it, so we just laughed and Deannia was like "I think her parents would kill me if I didnt return home with her and she came up missing." He laughed saying "She’s just so cute" and went back to his table. We chowed and when we were in line to pay he came up behind me without me noticing annnd was like "I know you’re gonna smile for me." I turn around to see him with his phone already out and aimed at me. So I went with it, smiled, and he took the pic of me. We paid for our food and went on our way. So now we joke that my "Arktuckian style catches the old guys’ eyes." LOL He was sweet though and not pervy in the least. That was much appreciated.
We took a bunch of random pics of each other and together sending them to each others’ phones so we’d have them all while waiting to be let in to get our seats. 11th row seats! Is that not sweet or what? We had ummm about an hour or so wait for the show to actually start so we piddled around taking more pics and talking. We had an awesome night annnd that’s about all I’ll report on for now. I’ll be back soonish loves! *hugs and smooches* God bless and lots of love.
