First entry of 09

Well how was everyone’s New Year Eve? MIne was quiet and kinda lonely. As some of you know Donnie left a couple days ago for his deployment. I updated his last Dephomo entry yesterday morning for him. He emailed me as soon as he got there to let me know he was safe and sent me the pics he wanted me to post. I got to talk to him for an hour late last night so I got to spend some of my New Years night (morning technically) with him. He sounds like he got through his first day pretty good. I miss him already. Blah lol. At least he told me the same thing so I dont feel so bad for missing him.

Anyway my day yesterday was okay. Got prettied up to go to… youth group as usual on Wednesdays. I knew I wasnt going to do anything else for the night so I decided to get all prettied up and enjoy time with my church kiddos. I sat and talked to Darrius most of the time (Leroy’s 14 yr old step brother). He’s such a good kid. I talk to him all the time. Him and some of my other kiddos text me too sometimes just to talk. I feel all loved and special and stuff. I watched the kiddos play Wii and pool and just chill out pretty much. We had popcorn and drinks and it was pretty much a free day. They really enjoyed it. I took a few pics that I’ll probably post in a bit.

After youth I came online and talked to Shannon and Debbie for a bit. Got 45 million Happy New Year texts lol. And I watched tv. Thrilling time huh? lol.

Deannia has a new man. I know NOTHING about him. She’s not told me a thing about him except his name and wants me to hang out with them tomorrow so I can meet him. I’m liiiiike ummmm can I know a little about him first? She wants to go to the mall, bowling, and to the movies. I dont want to be a third wheel and told her I’d feel like I’d be in the way. She told me she really wants me to be there and she’s not taking no for an answer lol. She wants me to get all pretty for her.

Speaking of being pretty. I got my hair trimmed this morning. The lady didnt take a lot off which is what I wanted and its trimmed into a simple bob. I kept my bangs. And if I decide to style it tomorrow, I’ll take pics to show you all. lol.

So I guess I’ll leave it at this and get to posting pics…
