Coming out of hiding for a moment…

So I dont even remember the last time I wrote or what I wrote about.  I went to KY for two weeks right after I graduated (which is probably the last time I wrote). The trip was fantastic. So much so that I really didnt want to come back to Arkansas and been just short of miserable since I’ve been back. I’ve only been to church once since I’ve been back because I just havent felt like getting back into the swing of my so-called life here. I guess I should touch on a few highlights of my trip huh?

Well I got there Sunday evening May 17th and left Friday evening May 29th (day after my birthday). Yes folks I turned 26 almost a month ago. When I got there my goddaughters were super excited to see me and didnt give me a moment of peace the whole evening. lol. They were all over me and I loved it. The next day I went to visit with Stevi’s mom Jacqui, her bro Ben, and her sisters Jettie, Tabi, (my KY mom, little bro, and other little sisters). Met a guy named Luke there. He’s pretty cool, hilarious, a bit obnoxious with his hyperness at times though. Anyway I chilled out with them for a couple hours then went back to Kerri’s (my cousin/goddaughter’s mom) to chill out with her and the girls. I dont remember Tuesday. More than likely just chilled out with Kerri and the girls. Wednesday I went back to Jacqui’s to do a photo shoot. Luke asked me to take pics of him and "make him look sexy" when he learned that I’m big into photography. Took a bunch of pics and Luke started playing guitar so we’re all sitting outside singing and clowning while he plays guitar. It was a lot of fun. Thursday, Kerri, Linda (Kerri’s mom), and I went to Evansville to spend the morning shopping. Kerri had taken off a week for my first week down and the girls were in school. I bought a crapload of stuff but I didnt spend a whole lot so thats always good. Friday we went out with Brandy (cousin) to eat at the Feedmill. We always try to make it there when I visit. The food is awesome. After that we just chilled out at Kerri’s for a bit before heading out to Brandy’s that evening. Linda said she’d keep the girls over night so we had a few drinks and watched a movie while sitting around talking. We came home and passed out around 1 or so.Saturday, I went to Evansville with Stevi (she came into town to see me since she’s stationed at an army base a few hours away) and her new bf Florez  and her mom Jacq. We rode in 2 seperate cars because mom had to go into work. So Stevi, Florez, and I stayed behind in Evansville to hang out longer. We went to her Uncle Randy and Aunt Kim’s house to sit and talk for a bit then went to eat at Chili’s. I had the scrumptious Tilapia dinner and an awesome Sunrise something or other margarita. Florez paid for everything which I wasnt expecting AND told the server that I had a bday coming up so I could get a free dessert. Needless to say he got big sissy’s approval. lol. We came back into town and went to one of Stevi’s friend’s house to watch the UFC fight and have a few drinks. After that I went back to Kerri’s and crashed. I dont think we did anything Sunday. Just chilled out with Kerri and the girls.

Monday, May 25th, while Kerri was at work Jacqui invited me to go with her, my sisters, bro,  and a friend of theirs Keith (who is my age) to eat and go to the movies in Evansville. Mom cooked steaks for everyone before we left. Mom, Jettie, Tabi, and I went to see Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian. Keith and Ben went to see the new Terminator movie. Tuesday, I went to the Feedmill with Andrea, a friend that I hadnt seen since we graduated high school. Other than that I just chilled out with Kerri and the girls. Wednesday I went with Jacq, Ben, Tabi, Jettie, and Rachel (the missing sister) to Applebees then to their Uncle Randy and Aunt Kim’s house again. We played American Idol on the Wii for a bit before going to the skating rink. We had a blast and Kim kept trying to help me scope out guy possibilities lmao. She’s awesome, Randy is awesome too. Their kids Shelby (14) and Connor (8) are awesome too of course. After that we went to McDonnalds then headed home where I crashed. Thursday, May 28th, was my birthday. I had a super fantabulous birthday. That day when the girls got out from school/daycare we got them all dressed up in the outfits I bought them when we went to Evansville with Linda. They LOVED their outfits (white mini skirts, cute striped shirts and  stylin sunglasses included) and thought they were the STUFF lmao. They kept posing for pics  like they were little models. It was hilarious. Anyway we all went with Linda to Dairy Queen to eat and get ice cream for my birthday. The girls refused to sing happy birthday to me until we walked into DQ. Then they decided to sing to me obnoxiously for the whole restaurant to hear. I couldnt help but to crack up. lol. We went back to Kerri’s to chill out and watch tv. Makiyah (my oldest goddaughter, 5) curled up on the couch with me and about fell asleep while laying on me. After they went up to bed, Kerri and I went with Jacq and Luke to a karaoke bar to celebrate me turning 26. Jacq bought me 2 beers and I got myself a monsterous strawberry dacquiri. I had no idea that it would be that big. Luke got up and performed (not just sang) Shoop by Salt n Pepper for me for my birthday. I was dying because he got so into it. Dancing and all. He’s such a ham. lol. Friday, mom and dad came in from Arkansas to pick me up to come home. I was sad. Makiyah was sad. Sissy (my youngest goddaughter, 3) didnt want me to go but she was too busy playing to be sad. lol. And that was my trip. I’ll write again later to tell you about Jettie and Luke coming to visit me a few weeks ago. 🙂 That was hella fun.
