Christmas Play Volunteer
Yep thats me. I volunteered yesterday to help Miranda with the kiddos and the children’s church Christmas play. She even gave me a part in the choir. lol. I think I’ll be mostly helping the kids with their solo singing parts and with the choir. So that’ll free up Miranda to help the kids run through their lines and whatever else she needs to do. I may try to help draw some of the set too but Im not sure about that yet. So every Sunday evening I go to praise practice, sing with the praise team in the beginning of service, then leave from there to go next door to the children’s church building to help Miranda for the remainder of evening service. So as you can see it works out. I am also more than likely going to help the youth group volunteer to put together Boxes of Love boxes together Saturday morning. This town (I dont know exactly who runs it) puts together food boxes for families in need for Thanksgiving and gift boxes for Christmas I believe. So Saturday morning we’re going to do that. And Saturday evening I’ll be working at Family Fun Night at the church. Its like this big carnival type thing at the church with all kinds of games and booths. I’m working the face painting booth. Woo hoo! It’ll be a lot of fun especially seeing all the kiddos run around enjoying themselves. You all are probably thinking this woman stays busy (those of you who still read me since I’ve become such an OD slacker). I am soooo ready for Thanksgiving and Christmas break. lol If all goes well I will have my associates degree this summer but I have NO clue where I’m going to transfer to or even how I’m going to afford it.
