blatant racism still exists unfortunately
Barbie Girl: me deannia and her friend lori went out last night. our usual club finally reopened after them rebuilding it from a fire so we wanted to go dance. but we found out they’re closing earlier than it used to so after we got done there lori kept screaming about going to the drift (another bar in town) so i was like i dont care either way long as its not a bunch of redneck or ghetto people. we get there the guy at the door takes deannia’s and lori’s ids and money then looked at me and was like you cant come in here. then looked at them and asked "is she with yall?" they were like yeah and he was like well she cant come in here. they were all like why and all he kept telling them was its a "private club" but never said anything to them about it before he found out i was with them…
Barbie Girl: didnt ask for membership cards or anything. you would think if it was a private club they’d have some type of membership card or something. so i stepped outside while deannia found lori in the club since she ran off and i was so livid i was crying.
i knew he was spouting a bunch of bs because he was racist. i looked around before i went outside and didnt see NO minority people in there
only white people
Barbie Girl: so we ended up going to blu a black club here in town and i had tears streamin down the whole time. and so many people at the bar tried to cheer me up and told me to just start coming to their club. i just sat and drank myself into oblivion which i was paying for it today
Barbie Girl: and it doesnt end there. lori STILL wanted to go to the drift after blu closed and deannia was caught in the middle. she didnt want to go when i couldnt go but lori was gonna go whether deannia took her or not so deannia didnt want lori to go without someone to watch over her so deannia had to drop me off at her house so i can sleep and calm down while she went back to the drift with lori
