hand sanitizer

When you have one baby, sickness sucks. If you get it, he is likely to get it and vice versa.. And I don’t know if you know, but you don’t get a day off when you get sick and you are a parent.  So, when I got the flu FROM Cooper twice in his three years, it sucked. Alot. The first time, he was nursing so for him THAT was good, at least he was getting nourishment from me that way… but when I start throwing up I wasn’t getting any hydration, and I was SO worried about loosing my supply but he was 1 year old, so it would have been okay because he could drink cow milk.

When you have TWO babies, sickness STILL sucks.  Now though, it’s a whole new game.  You have to be careful with germs, with wash cloths, kleenex’s, hugs & kisses, ALL OF IT! Sucks.  So, Cooper has a cold right now and earlier in the week he had a fever. I am SO scared of getting sick, of Avery getting sick.  It’s SOO hard though to be on top of everything. I wash my hands alot during the day, but to wash the almost 3 year olds hands ALL the time is impossible. The worst is that I "wash" their soothers with my mouth. BAD HABIT. I also share food with Cooper daily.. Cereal every morning is kinda a group thing. He eats half of mine all the time (sharing kinda sucks!).  Germs are every where so it’s a very real fear that I am going to get sick.. and if I don’t it’s a freakin’ miracle. Really, Avery shouldn’t since she is breastfed..

When I get sick, which is inevitable I do not get time off. I can lay on the couch at times, but Avery is a mover and a shaker and wants to switch activities alllll the time. Blah.

Send healthy vibes this way..
