empty sheets

This morning the kids are obsessed with Cailliou. Weird.

Cooper’s birthday party was fun. Five boys was alot but it was okay. I think a shorter party next time? haha. He was spoiled. We followed the party up with family, and pizza and BEER afterwards. It was also good times. Two giant messes (one mess, two times), a giant messy kitchen, and two super tired children. It was all worth it.
Coop was pretty saucy by the end of it, in his normal fashion, but I know when to fight it or not.

His actual birthday I left work at lunch, he was at MIL’s house, so I picked him up and took him out to lunch. We went to McDs and he got to play in the coveted playground for a bit. We then went and bought a toy, and he HAD TO buy one for Avery too, which was pretty sweet.
We went out for supper with the inlaws, since B’s parents just got home from a cruise. It was nice, the kids behaved and um, I ate a deep fried mars bar for dessert,. YUM> lol

Cooper ran away from me in the parking lot, first time ever, and almost got hit. Scared the crap out of him and me.. I think everyone in a three block radius could hear me yell his name..

Since July Brandon and I have been eating better-ish, and exercising lots. He has lost 50+ pounds, and I have lost 30lbs. Which is alot, but I have been at the 28-30lb plateau for 2 months. Which is horribly frustrating. He wants to loose 10 more pounds so he is going to try to go carb/sugar free for a couple of weeks. This annoys me to NO end. I am not sure why, but it does. I know part of it is that we havent’ dieting at all during our weight loss. We have just been making smarter choices, eating a bit less, and just PAYING ATTENTION. Starting with dieting now, is just annoying to me, and makes me feel weak because I CAN NOT give up carbs or sugar for that matter. So I guess his success continually makes me feel like a failure. Blah.
I AM proud of him. He looks AWESOME. But man, I am so annoyed. haha

We were supposed to get some sort of epic snow storm last night.. and we just got rain/a bit of snow. The roads are slushy, and that’s it. I don’t work today so I am not too concerned.

I need to go tidy this house up. There is still party stuff EVERYWHERE. lol.
