Wet…
…always reminds me f Good Morning Vietnam and he weather forecast – see he film to find more details. I would so love to see out-takes from that fil. Robin Williams at his outlandish free style comedic best while also playing the straight guy. He was a sad sad loss to the world. Suicide is one of those awful dreadful things that we can all help reduce. Just take a chance on talking to someone and listening…not hearing but really listening to what they have to say. You may just save a life!
Yes it is raining and grey and yuk this morning. After the wettest March for sometime the ground has given up and floods are starting over. No cricket at Worcester for example and I am sure there are some houses that are cut off. Still we will get idiots who drive into flood water and have to wait for someone else to risk themselves getting them out. Should charge them for being idiots.
And when will we learn that building on river floodplains is going to lead to tears.
Oh well I am just someone who would suggest that sometimes common sense is necessary. I do know someone for example who was building a house on a hilltop who was asked then told to get a flood certificate at some cost, to prove the house wasn’t going to flood, I haven’t seen a hilltop flood so unless they were referring to Noah then it wasn’t going to happen. Stupid and perverse.
h another good wondersome entry…
Hey! Still remember me? I am back on OD too!
I really relate to what you said about suicide in this entry, very wise and I wish there would be more people thinking like you in this world. Respect my friend. I hope you are well, and I hope to hear from you!!
A hug!
@hiddencobra_1 Hi and welcome back to you. How are things…life…the universe etc

Common Sense is definitely UNcommon, sadly. I’ve seen people build in an area of depressed land, then complain to the town when it floods, or that they had to pay for a pump for sewage removal – obviously forgetting that water doesn’t run uphill.

Robin Williams was so talented. I always felt you could see sadness in his eyes even when he was being entertainint/hilarious. So true about being a listening ear for people in dark places.
