Day 7: List 10 Songs That You Are Loving Right Now
This is a really hard one. There is no specific genre that I like..it is all about the words in the song on how the song makes me feel.
So in no particular order…..
- Chasing The Sun – Empire Cast (Jamal, Hakeem & Luscious Lion)
The words in this song is so much how family life is…family squabbles and just internal fights with ourselves.
2. If I Didn’t Love You (Jason Aldean & Carrie Underwood)
Another song that speaks to me. I love male and female duets. These words speak to me so much. Every word that is sung is like something that I feel often and words that I want to sometimes scream and shout. Those words are so true to me.
3. Him & I (G-Eazy & Halsey)
I just love them. My Husband and I are so attached and we are always doing things together and are each others’ ‘Ride & Die’ and I have always felt as if it is always the two us. I mean of course things have been said and thought and done that makes me question a lot and pisses me off.
Ever catch me cheating, she would try to cut my (ha-ha-ha)
My husband always says that if he had to ever catch me cheating he would kill the guy and I would come home to see my bags packed, waiting for me at the front door and he would be sleeping perfectly fine. Now I find that all to be so funny…considering he ‘Emotionally’ cheated last year. Not sure why he feels entitled to ‘kick me out’ of our home that is on my name and that I owned before I even met him. And not so sure how someone will be able to kill someone and be able to climb into bed as if nothing happened right afterwards. I liked to think he wouldn’t ever actually do it. I also don’t understand how I am so nonchalant about his promise.
4.Worship You (Kane Brown)
I love how he proclaims to love the person, he is singing to, so much. I don’t believe that anybody should love any human more than they love G-d but I wish I had that love and devotion.
5. No Love (Eminem ft. Lil Wayne)
My favourite Eminem song. The words and passion just runs through me and I feel it all. Eminem may come across angry but his words are so honest…I mean I am sure that I have felt the emotions that he has expressed many times and it is nice to have a song out there that actually says what you feel. Eminem is one person I would do anything to see live.
6. Love The Way You Lie (Eminem ft. Rihanna)
So true! In my past posts I speak often about how bad things can get between me and my husband…but at the end of the day I stay and love him and no matter how shit I may feel and no matter how many tears I cry and all the bullshit he may shout back at me I still stick around. I still love him. I still speak and think of a future for us.

It is so nice to hear such a Western and Globally Popular song with a South African spin to it. Makes me bob my head, swing my hips and tap my feet…even when it comes on the radio and I am driving.
9. Mizmor Le David (Gad Elbaz)
‘Psalm of David’ I love this worship song. I generally love Gad Elbaz. I don’t speak or understand Hebrew so I look up translations for the many Hebrew songs I love… and my love for these songs stems from how they make me feel.
I also tend to love to start my day with this song… my prayer and salvation to G-d. Feel like me listening to the song and feeling the words…singing the song and reading the translation is me telling G-d that I believe in him and I trust and Love him and know he can do it all.
10. I Hope (Gabby Barrett)
I just love her. Think she is gorgeous. But this is a song I would love to say and scream to a guy! well my husband. It is the perfect ‘Karma’ song.
Okay so those are my 10 songs, but there are so much more. But it was kinda hard thinking of songs that ‘I Love’ verse songs that I just ‘feel’

I love Blake Shelton and I just love his duets with Gwen. What Gwen sings I feel and get, because I know it all…I get it.

Halsey is singing it for me. As much as I want a child often I am happy that I don’t have one considering how I had felt so unsure about my husband and how things have been between us. And I get how when she sings how she has tried to help ‘him’ but he gets mad…cuz I know what she means!! Drunk men think they are so much better and bigger than they are.

I just love the words. Romance at the start.
