Parental Advisory: Responsibility

It’s never your fault, is it parents?
Theres no way that you could be to blame for something your own flesh and blood did.
It’s impossible.
It’s got to be her boyfriend.
Or her other girlfriends that are just bad influences.
That’s got to be it.

Well, might as well punish her.

Bullshit.

Many parents, are good, and fine. But so many more are not. Why? Simple. They lack the responsibility they need. Some parents lose all their energy and intellegence when their child is an infant or toddler. I can’t blame some sure, kids are insane. they can be running around the house for 13 hours and fall down, sleep for 20 minutes and do it again. They’re like cats, only uglier.

But, it’s the parents, of whom believe their kid isn’t trying. The ones who’s kids have given up. The ones whose kids have no freedom. Who are constantly messing up their parents lives. Grow up.

Just grow the fuck up.

Parents who believe that the only way to save their kids is to force them to goto church, even though they don’t want to, they don’t share the beliefs.

Grow up, let them decide.

You’re raising you’re kids to be their own people. Not little you’s. If you want that, go clone yourself. You’re kid thinks independantly. We all do. No shit right?

Well, some parents don’t get it.

For example. My girlfriend has wanted to move out since she was 15. I met her when she was 16, yet it’s my fault she wanted to move out. Why? Because they treat her like shit. They tell her to goto church, dress her the way they want. make her eat what they eat, make her do what they do. if she doesn’t liek it, tough shit for her.

They hide information that is just ludacris to hide from anyone! Her dad goes into Rehab, her mom tells her daddy went away for a buisness tripe (she’s 13 or 14 at this time) but mommy tells the brothers where daddy is.

Don’t fucking lie to your kids. they’re going to find out, jsut like anyone else does, and it will destroy your relationship, no matter what.

Don’t buy your kids love. Earn it. Don’t get them the new car when they turn 16 and 4 more eacht ime they total it. Don’t baby your child and tell them not to work until they graduate. Don’t encourage them to live at home until 25. Don’t jsut let them play video games when they’re supposed to do other things.

Don’t be irresponsible. You want your kids to grow up right, treat them as an adult. Thats all we ever wanted, but never got. Why? Oh because we just wont understand! Bullshit.

We’ll learn to understand.
