Everyones a Messiah!
I recently found out, that everyone is a messiah.
Everyone has their own personal belief’s, and that’s cool. It’s how it should be. Thats what makes us all different right? Typically yes.
But, then you have half the teenage population who’s with the “In Crowd” and the other half that’s in the “Unique” crowd. Where they all try to be different together.
Am I the only one that sees this? Half of them thinking they don’t wanna follow the norm, so they all shop at Hot Topic to be different together? Do they KNOW that Hot Topic is owned by Gap? Where all the “In Crowd” people shop? Abercrombie/Fitch, American Eagle, Mr. Rags, The Junkyard, they’re all stores that we decide how to define ourselves right?
Well, lets grow up a bit here. Me, I stopped shopping for things that looked cool long ago. why? Because I wanted to be COMFORTABLE. How many of you college/adults goto these places and buy the most expensive clothes to not fit in the crowd? If you have to try to stand out of the crowd, you’re not unique. You’re an eyesore, sure, but not unique. Just because you wear black eyeliner, black pants that could fit 3 of you in them, and a mesh shirt, does not give you an insight on the hows and why’s of todays society. You wanna be unique? Fucking dress like that, goto a place like the Congo, and try to speak in English to the natives. THEN you’ll be unique. You won’t have to conform to shit. You won’t accomplish anything and will probably die, but hey, you’ll finally achieve your lifelong dream of not conforming to society. Right? Isn’t that your dream? You hate the world (and by world, I mean the world around you and you surround yourself in. Your city, your high school. cause really, nobody here really knows a lot about the world, except some politicians, travel agencies, and ambassadors). You hate the world? Well, ok. We’ll hate you too. But at least we’ll make money off you to fund out hatred, while you bring your sour assed attitude wherever you go. Bring your attitude with you as you ring up my Snickers and Cherry coke at the store. You’ll bring your attitude with you while sifting through our shit int he sewers. You wanna be treated like the “Untouchables” of our society? You got it. Bring it with you to whatever job you have, and piss off your employee’s who’ve forgotten about all this because it DOESN’T MATTER. Oh, while you’re there, dont forget to complain about why you can’t hold a job. Just because you preach to every person that will listen about your horrible life and your outlook on society, doesn’t mean you’re a bad employee right? Just remember: You’re the only one with that view, just like millions of others out there. And if you feel the need to tell me this, while working at gas stations, fast food places, GOODWILL…. don’t. That’s life. It sucks sometimes, but if you make it suck for your whole life doing this shit, then yes, you will hate it. But you’ll only have yourself to blame. Become a Brahman Priest. Join a Cult. I don’t care. Just leave me out of it.
And in case anyone is wondering, I’m just venting. Granted, I’m being my own messiah here too, but hey, everyones got an opinion they wanna say. Just depends on if YOU wanna listen, consider it, argue against it, or get angry over it. I have no problem if someone wants to be unique. Just don’t buy the same shit as everyone else. and I don’t acre if you wanna buy the same shit as everyone else, jsut don’t call yourself unique. Goth, sure, that’s fine, but a non-conformist doesn’t mean anything. it’s impossible to not conform to society and survive. If you think I’m wrong, and you wanna get in a mature discussion or debate over it great. you wanna just call me a retard and send flames my way, suit yourself, you’re well on your way to absolutley nowhere.
And To those that don’t act like these people, great. Hope you can relate to what I’m saying.

no flames from me either! good entry… i agree. i dress punk-rocker-ish, but unlike many others, i am completely willing to admit that i dress that way as a conformist style. i hate how everyone thinks they are the ONLY person who dresses that way, and everyone else is a “poser”. hell, EVERYONE in our society is a poser! *sigh* silly rabbit, tricks are for kids. rock on. xoxo~

welcome to reality. the “unique” people around you spend a LOT of money to dress in raggy clothes and put 18 holes in their face so they look unique. So bent out of shape on making themselves an individual that they forget that their personality is who they are, and forget to focus on that. But for your reference, _I_ am THE Messiah.
