witch hunter robin (complete)

i must say i am satisfied with the ending.  there are many loose ends left along the way in this series, but whether or not they make another one, i’m satisfied.  enough truth was revealed, drama heightened etc. for me to feel the right amount of payoff for commitment to the series.  in any case, robin got to wear at least two different costumes (that i remember) and looked great (otaku).

i really would appreciate another series though – not so much to tie-up loose ends, but because there is just so much more to every character, especially amon, his brother and of-course robin herself.  the first series was good because it really was one story and a number of separate events, rather than many animes where characters will get episodes dedicated to their backstory or their current lives.  so i suppose if there were more series’ to come, i’d prefer them excecuted in the same way the first was.

not that any of that bullshit matters as so far as i know, there isn’t another series in the making.  one can only hope though – i was really immersed in the atmosphere.
