Today I went shopping.
There was a horrible display of colour on show.
I’ve nothing against colours, but these were truly tasteless, in every store too.
My mother suggests it’s part of an attempt by the general populace to change the image that Melbourne has a reputation for wearing dull-tones.
Go ahead.
Change it.
True Melbournians still wear black.
The rest of you fools can run around and chase the fashions, year after year, season after season.
I’ll still be wearing my black long-sleeve basics and my black short-sleeve T’s.
