Have you ever tried so hard to do something good only to have it repeatedly stuff-up on you? I guess this little bit was also used in Groundhog Day, which I didn’t mind, and of-course Bill Murray gets reverse kudos for Lost in Translation, but Tokikake is just so much sweeter.
Lost in Translation was a insipid, almost unmoving, utterly devoid of point, movie. her leaps back in time to do everything in her power was beyond her years.
