I know it seems like a trivial thing, but when the music starts up and the main title appears in kanji with the red lines, it’s absolutely stirring once you’ve seen the film before. You know what you’re into, and it’s such a great, defining opening moment, like the first breath of warm air in Spring with all the promises of sunny weather, delight and wonder.

This music is amazing.
